infosex.exchange <3

You are probably looking for the infosec.exchange Mastodon instance

This host is mostly for my random stuff, and in little part acts like a well-intentioned placeholder for the typosquatted domain.

Discoverability and Archiving

Currently I'm using this host for saving the items from my own feeds to the Wayback Machine and provide in-links for search engines. I hate that I have to do this, but the non-sense ideology of Mastodon pretty much ruined the search feature for Fediverse as a whole, and this wasn't changed by the fact that they owned their mistake and implemented search eventually.

Yes, I (or anyone else) could do similar things with other peoples published feeds, regardless of the tantrum. No, you can't defederate this, because the process doesn't rely on an instance.

I've never imagined I'll have my name on a CIS Benchmark, but here we go:

Version 2.0.0 of CIS Benchmarks for #IBMi V7R4M0 and V7R5M0 released:

https://www.cisecurity.org/benchmark/ibm

I'm glad we could upgrade #password policy requirements so they follow modern best-practices more closely, reducing password fatigue of users while increasing system security.

I finally get to listen to Kanye West's New Slaves where he quite blatantly plagarized the song of Omega, a legendary Hungarian band.

I'm generally quite excited about reinterpretations (the main theme of the song is pretty epic and has been "borrowed" a bunch of times before), but this one was just so bad and out of place I decided to just share the original for you to enjoy it its entirety:
