@lcamtuf I had friends in high-school who loved to argue + a pretty good history teacher so I think we had some decent amateur philosophy sessions, but never formally. As an adult I find some(!) of the topics fascinating, but I just recently struggled to explain my 10yo why philosophy is actually important (he was most concerned that people apparently get paid to do this :D).
